An extremely weird time.

The world is in disarray, and things are quite frightening right now. But at Outlandish we’re still working, and committed to carrying on, albeit from our living rooms and dining tables.

We won’t be sitting back and letting things halt, and we don’t want you to either. We want to take on the challenge to keep things moving. We want to think creatively and seize opportunities to kick-start real social change. We want to work with you to mitigate the impact of this pandemic. It’s amazing what we can achieve when we show solidarity and take collective public action into our own hands.

We know our online presence is important to our business (and to our clients) and it has become even more important now we are all reliant on the internet to carry on. That is why we will be turning around some super quick changes to our presence. If you need support to do the same, we are here. We can advise on changes, create assets, build micro-sites or splash pages, or help you to set up systems to enable you to work from home more effectively. We want to help you work as productively as possible.

As big believers in grassroots organisation and co-operation, we’re really heartened to see local communities pulling together to address their needs and look out for one another. This also serves as an opportunity for technology to play an important role in mobilising donors and volunteers, facilitating self-organisation, distribution of resources, providing essential services, and just getting things done.
We will be running our usual face-to-face workshops remotely for this period, and getting some more onto the calendar. So come and experience how we are doing it, get advice from us on how to do these yourselves and learn new skills while you are at it!

Some of this might resonate with you on an organisational-level, a team-level, or a personal-level. We’d really love to hear how you’re adapting to this changing situation, and help link you up to others doing similar things.

If you aren’t sure how to do it, what to do or how you can carry on with the basics, we can help. Just get in touch.
