We have been successful in a bid to take over a new local office space, at 113-115 Fonthill Road in Finsbury Park.

The contract has been awarded to us by Islington Council, as part of their Affordable Workspace Strategy and Inclusive Economy agenda. We’ll be helping Islington to fulfill it’s objective of securing long-term workspace for small businesses and promoting social value locally.

We are extremely proud to be involved in this movement to nurture tech coops and to get more young people, BAME people, LGBT people, women and other groups underrepresented in the tech industry to prosper. We’ll also be helping Islington businesses to thrive by providing training and identifying ways of making our supply chain as local as possible.

At a pre-launch last week (15th July 2019) we had the privilege of hosting Jeremy Corbyn to talk about his support for small businesses in Islington and his determination to support all people to become economically and socially prosperous. We also hosted Counsellor Matthew Brown from Preston and some of his
colleagues to learn from one another about how we can better implement community wealth building.

We have long term plans for this new space including more community outreach, more business training opportunities, and more inspiring events.

  1. Help us fill desks: We now need to fill the additional desks to expand our lovely community. Please help spread the word.
  2. Host an event or meeting here: We have meeting and events space available to hire.
  3. Sponsor a desk: We have loads of people working on social value projects who we offer the space to on a pay-what-you can basis. If you could sponsor a desk that will allow us to continue to support everyone regardless of their financial situation.
